I chose to draw a female character to better my proportion of the feminine body physique as i have never drawn much with it.

Drawing with and without the background.

I chose the background colour based on the colours used in the drawing and blended them together giving it a gradient aswell. I used a couple of reference images for different reasons for this drawing.

These two images were used to help get the body proportion aswell as placement of the hands.
While this image was used as reference for the skirt.
