With UV mapping i had some issues with my crate and unwrapping it, So i reverted to the resource provided for the low poly crate.

two of the faces of this crate were removed as its easier to UV half of the faces and duplicate them later.

These points needed stitching to make it one smooth curve for the UV model.

The model was then unwrapped in to an assortment of shapes and faces, those of which being the crate faces. They were to close together originally so i used some padding in between each face.
