The weekly task we were set during the lab this week was to make a Pumpkin by sculpting it in zbrush.

Starting from a sphere there were a couple of things i had to do first in order for it to shape out more like a pumpkin. This would involve using the Mask tool and the scale tool to do a form of extruding without needing to do it by hand with a brush.

Once again using the mask and scale tool i used it to make a face shape i liked following a rough style of tim burton to make a unique yet spooky looking pumpkin.

Using a new tool called poly paint, I disabled the Zadd and enalbed RGB allowing me to use different colours to paint around the face of my pumpkin helping highlight certain details and show what the actual face is vs the colour of a pumpkin. Using the normal brush, Smoothing and more colouration aswell as the features part of Chisel Creature it allowed me to add more personality and features to the face of the pumpkin.

The finalized piece had some teeth and horns i used as eyebrows with different colouration highlights aswell as a twisted stalk.
