Overall Observations

The paticular variation of the drone i have managed to study proves it is well evolved, from its claw pincers down to its legs, shell and tail for most environments it may come across with the exception of colder and winter ecosystems. Each evolutionary feature serves a strict yet very borad pourpose

The “Drone” shares alot of anatomy and feature set of the chameleon however it has taken a different route to overcoming certain difficulties.

It seems to have developed a natural defensive shell like that of a chitin on crustaceans. Like the crustaceans it has developed a claw to help with its set tasks primarily in harvesting. As it doesn’t burn large ammounts of fat by alot of exercise it has developed a different mouth to what i had thought, It is a herbivore but its mouth looks akin of a fly or butterfly.

Its body features a ribbed spine adding more protection to the remaining soft skin on the surface however on the tail it is left exposed to allow extra movement in water activities.

The feet are very similar to that of a chameleon however the bone structure of the sholders and pelvis are ajusted making it a shorter length however the tail starts sooner. The balljoints of the chameleon allow for also easy and flexible  movements so the drone can traverse its terrain easily and looks as if its feet can close to grip on objects for extra balance and traction.

Based on my observations this creature seems to play a much larger role that it might seem. The central mind relies on this creature to do what i would describe as foraging for the rest of the hive and the other creatures. Its sole purpose would seem like it is to help maintain and upkeep the nest, food and other key resources such as water.

As simple minded as these creatures seem they do have an interesting mind it would apprear. Every time im near them, they would approach me and what would seem like study me and my equipment looking around pinching and lifting up clothing and other things i have brought with me to better study these. I cant speak for all of the creatures of this species but this one would seem most friendly and docile. Almost as if it could be a pet..
